Terms of Service
The rules for creating a Gigbuddy account and using the workspace, including Google sign-in and paid Sound module features.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Agreement
By creating an account, signing in (including with Google), or using Gigbuddy, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
Gigbuddy is operated by DPM Studios. If you use Gigbuddy for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.
Your account
You must provide a real name and a working email address. You are responsible for your password and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Google sign-in uses the Google account you choose. We do not automatically attach a Google login to an existing email/password account. If those emails match, sign in with your password first and connect Google under Account Settings.
We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that is abusive, unlawful, or a risk to other users or the service.
The service
Gigbuddy lets you plan live-event production: projects, input/output lists, stageplots, trunks, picking lists, sharing, and related tools. Features can change as we ship updates.
Some Sound module capabilities are described as paid. Pricing copy may mention a free or view-only tier; access rules in the product are the ones that apply at the time you use it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass access controls.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use Gigbuddy to send spam or to store malware.
- Share login credentials in a way that puts other people's project data at risk.
Your content
You keep ownership of the project data you create. You grant DPM Studios a limited license to host, back up, display, and transmit that data so we can operate Gigbuddy — including showing it to people you invite or to anyone who opens a public share link you enable.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your production documents and for who you share them with.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid features are billed through Stripe. Taxes, renewals, and cancellations follow the Stripe checkout and customer portal you use. Fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
Availability and disclaimers
Gigbuddy is provided “as is.” We aim for a reliable service but do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular show. You are responsible for exporting or printing critical documents before load-in if connectivity may be poor.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, DPM Studios is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of Gigbuddy. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing.
Termination
You may stop using Gigbuddy at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we shut down the service. After closure, we handle personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of the page will change when we do. If a change is material, we will try to give reasonable notice through the site or email. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. Courts in Sweden have jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to sue in your home country.
