I'm setting up a new gig, where do I start?
Start by building your Stageboxes in the 'Project Setup' modal. Once your hardware is defined, jump into the Input list to route your channels. Drop items onto the Stageplot anytime, and your picking list will automatically build itself.
Do I need to save my changes?
No. Gigbuddy automatically saves every edit instantly. If FOH changes a channel name, Monitor World and the stage crew will see the update in milliseconds.
Can I use Gigbuddy offline in a basement venue?
Currently, Gigbuddy requires an active internet connection to synchronize real-time changes across your crew and devices. If you know connectivity will be bad, use our Print/Export features to generate PDFs before load-in.
What happens if two techs edit the same patch?
Gigbuddy features live presence indicators. If another tech has a cell selected (like a patch destination), you'll see their cursor, preventing accidental overwrites. The last edit applied is the one that sticks.
